Terms of Service

1. The service

Zatway Media lets listeners discover radio and podcasts, and lets eligible creators manage stations, upload audio, arrange Auto DJ playlists and publish podcast episodes. A connected live stream requires a working external HTTPS audio source. Available features, storage allowances and station limits are shown in the app.

External streams and media depend on their providers and can become unavailable. Keep your own backups of audio and other content.

2. Your account

Provide accurate information and protect your sign-in account. You are responsible for activity you authorize and the content you publish. If you operate a station for another person or organization, you must have authority to do so. Contact support if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

Eligible creator accounts can start one 14-day free trial for one station without a payment card. The trial starts when you activate it. Its expiry and your access status appear in My subscription. Earlier 7-day trials receive the full 14 days from their original activation date; refreshing or signing in does not start a new trial. Longer trial assignments are retained. Ending the trial early does not restart or restore the unused trial period.

Starter supports one station, Prime supports three, and Premier supports five. Prices are shown in US dollars, with monthly or yearly terms. The yearly price is the full amount payable upfront; an equivalent monthly figure is a comparison, not a monthly instalment. Renewing the same plan adds the purchased calendar term after remaining access. Changing to a different plan is available after the current paid term ends, or through support. A smaller plan must accommodate the stations already on your account.

Estimated station listening-hour allowances are 1,000 hours for the whole free trial, and 400,000 for Starter, 1,000,000 for Prime or 2,500,000 for Premier per UTC calendar month. Paid allowances are shared across all stations in the account and reset monthly even with annual billing. One listener playing for one hour is one listening hour. Usage covers progressing live and Auto DJ playback through current Zatway Media website and embedded station players; it excludes podcasts, previews, pauses, buffering, direct Icecast links and external apps. Tracking starts with this update; historical listening is not backfilled. Browser-based estimates can omit offline or interrupted measurements. Allowances currently trigger usage and upgrade notices; they do not stop playback or create overage fees or automatic charges. Existing legacy paid access, administrator grants and the platform owner have no listening-hour cap.

Auto DJ track allowances apply per station: 100 during the free trial, 500 on Starter, 1,000 on Prime and 1,500 on Premier. Uploaded files and direct Audio URLs each count as one saved track. These are library capacities, not monthly upload credits; removing a track frees a slot. Track limits are checked when saving, including completion of a pending upload. An existing library above a new or lower plan limit is preserved and remains playable, reorderable and removable; adding tracks requires space within the limit or a suitable plan. The platform owner, legacy paid hosting and active administrator grants have capacity for 1,500 tracks per station. Separate file-size and uploaded-audio storage limits still apply. Podcast libraries retain their current 100-episode capacity.

The free trial and Starter include basic broadcasting, Auto DJ, podcasts, station profiles and standard players with sharing. Prime and Premier add station comments, the live listener country map and custom player designs. Premier also offers downloadable CSV snapshots of current listener totals by country. These totals cover Zatway Media website and embedded players, and do not identify individual listeners. Feature access follows the station owner's current entitlement. Existing legacy paid access and administrator grants retain their previous feature access.

The price, currency, billing period and limits shown in My subscription or checkout apply to the purchase you authorize. Renewals are manual; the current service does not automatically charge you at trial expiry or for renewal. A paid subscription begins only after a payment is verified or an administrator grants access. If checkout is unavailable, the app will show that state.

Paid plans include ad-free streaming in the sense that Zatway Media does not insert platform advertising into the audio. Broadcaster-provided audio and external streams can contain their own adverts. Starter, Prime and Premier can publish optional listener-support and sponsorship links. These open services selected by the broadcaster; Zatway Media does not collect these payments, provide an advertising marketplace or guarantee earnings, advertisers, payouts or advertising credits. Check the external service's payment and privacy terms before using it.

Premier can schedule up to ten station-owned ad clips, each no longer than five minutes, after a chosen interval of one to twenty music tracks in Auto DJ and live fallback. Ads rotate in selection order, including after a final shorter music group. Selected clips stay outside the regular music rotation even while scheduling is disabled; clear their selection to return them to regular rotation. Clips use the existing track and storage allowances. Changing ad settings restarts the shared Auto DJ timeline; a listener's current track may finish first. Live-show adverts are mixed in the broadcaster's encoder. Scheduling pauses when Premier access is unavailable, without deleting its settings or audio. Paid support/sponsorship links are hidden when hosting access is unavailable. Station owners remain responsible for their adverts and linked services.

Starter includes standard email support for accounts and basic station setup. Prime adds advanced broadcast, Auto DJ and player setup help. Premier includes personal broadcast setup by appointment, arranged through the configured support email and subject to availability. No response-time guarantee or automatic appointment booking is implied.

When creator access ends, hosting, broadcasting or editing features may be restricted. Expiry does not automatically delete studio records. Contact support about billing errors or refund requests, including your payment reference and account email. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you upload. You give Zatway Media permission to store, process, format and deliver it as needed to provide the features you use, including public playback and display of material you publish.

You must own or obtain the rights and permissions needed for music, recordings, performances, artwork, logos and personal information you share. Zatway Media hosting does not provide music licences or clear copyright and broadcasting rights for you.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Zatway Media to infringe rights, impersonate others, publish unlawful material, exploit children, threaten people, distribute malware or expose private information without permission. Do not attempt to access another creator's private studio, evade access restrictions, interfere with the service or abuse storage and upload functions.

6. Moderation and rights complaints

Zatway Media may restrict accounts, hide content or suspend playback to address suspected misuse, rights complaints or security issues. To report content, email support with the station or episode link, an explanation and information supporting your authority to make the report. You may contact support to ask for a review of a restriction.

7. Ending use and requesting deletion

You can stop using Zatway Media and remove audio through your studio where the controls are available. For account closure or deletion assistance, email support from your account email address. We may verify ownership. See the retention and deletion section of our Privacy Policy for records that may need to be retained.

8. Availability and changes

Features can be interrupted by maintenance, network conditions or provider failures. Zatway Media does not promise uninterrupted broadcasting or availability of external stations.

Changes to these terms will be posted here with an updated date. Prices and limits applicable to a new purchase will be displayed before you authorize it. Contact support if you need help understanding a change or resolving an issue.
